Household rubbish
General home junk, boxes, bags, toys, small appliances, old household items, balcony clutter and mixed rubbish from decluttering, downsizing or moving.
What we take
Clearing a unit, garage, office or rental is easier when you know what belongs in a general rubbish removal load. Junk King Sydney removes everyday bulky items and mixed junk that can be safely hand-loaded by the crew. If an item is hazardous, unusually heavy, fixed in place or needs licensed handling, tell us early so you get a clear answer.
Common pickups
Most jobs are a mix: a couch from the lounge, boxes from storage, a broken appliance, garden cuttings, office furniture or leftover rubbish after a move. Photos can help the team understand the load, but the final price is confirmed on site before anything is loaded.
Items we take
This page is for normal residential, property and business rubbish. The main test is simple: can it be safely lifted, carried through the available access and loaded without specialist equipment, trade work or hazardous handling?
General home junk, boxes, bags, toys, small appliances, old household items, balcony clutter and mixed rubbish from decluttering, downsizing or moving.
Couches, lounges, tables, chairs, wardrobes, cabinets, drawers, bed frames, shelving, outdoor furniture and other bulky household furniture.
Single, double, queen and king mattresses, bed bases and bedroom furniture where access is safe and the item can be carried out by the crew.
Fridges, freezers, washing machines, dryers, dishwashers and bulky laundry or kitchen appliances that are already disconnected and ready to remove.
Microwaves, small appliances, printers, monitors, computers, cables and electronic office items that fit a normal rubbish removal pickup. These are best when they are part of a larger home, office or commercial rubbish removal load.
Cartons, flattened cardboard, delivery packaging, moving boxes, retail packaging, foam inserts and clean stockroom rubbish from homes or businesses.
Branches, leaves, pruning piles, garden bags, pots, light outdoor debris and yard cleanup rubbish that can be carried and loaded safely.
Desks, chairs, filing cabinets, shelving, archive boxes, packaging, old equipment and mixed office junk from small or staged cleanouts.
Leftover furniture, bags, boxes, balcony items, storage cage clutter and unwanted household goods before cleaner arrival, inspection or key handover.
Stored boxes, shelves, tools, camping gear, old appliances, loose clutter and bulky items from garages, sheds and storage cages.
Light timber offcuts, carpet, underlay, old cupboards, fixtures, packaging and small non-hazardous renovation cleanup loads, where the weight and access suit hand loading.
Mixed loads for real estate teams, strata buildings, landlords, sellers and families clearing rooms, garages, courtyards or storage areas.
Useful details
A short description is usually enough to start. Mention the main item types, the suburb, where the rubbish is sitting, and whether there are stairs, lifts, tight driveways, loading docks, basement parking or building time limits. If the load includes one awkward item, say so; that can change the safest way to quote and load the job.
Items we do not take
Some items are outside general rubbish removal because they are hazardous, licensed, liquid, trade-controlled, too heavy or unsafe to hand-load. Junk King Sydney does not take these items and cannot include them in the pickup.
Every pickup includes
The process is built to be straightforward. The crew looks at the accepted rubbish on site, confirms the all-inclusive price before loading, and only starts when you approve it.
