Canterbury NSW 2193
Need furniture, boxes or a mixed clear-out carried from a Canterbury unit, house, garage or shop? Show us the whole load and route so the crew can quote the actual work before anything moves.

Apartment, house or shop?
In an apartment, a sofa may need a booked lift, several corridor turns and a basement loading point. At a house, the shortest route may run through a garage, side gate or driveway. Shop and office work adds opening hours, customer access and a nominated site contact.
Send a wide photo from every collection position and then work outward to the truck. Include the tightest doorway, each flight of stairs, lift dimensions, basement height, gates and the place where the vehicle can legally stop.
Canterbury pickup types
Clear photos should show both volume and location. Two identical furniture loads can require very different labour when one is beside a driveway and the other is spread across an upper-floor unit and storage cage.
Confirm the floor, lift reservation, stairs, corridors and approved loading window. Ask the building manager about keys, padding or access paperwork before the collection day.
Group items by room or outdoor position without blocking the safest exit. Photograph rear piles, sheds and anything hidden behind the visible front row.
Lounges, tables, cabinets, bed frames and other suitable hand-loadable items can be reviewed. Show the complete item and its tightest exit point.
State the inspection or key-return time, then separate all possessions being kept. A marked no-load zone reduces mistakes when several people are still packing.
Desks, chairs, shelving, cartons and general clear-out material may suit collection. Disclose food, liquids, chemicals, fixed fittings or unusually dense items before scheduling.
Bag small loose material and keep branches apart from furniture and household rubbish. Identify soil, roots, sharp vegetation and heavy renovation material for a suitability check.
Booked clean-up or crew collection?
City of Canterbury Bankstown currently offers eligible houses, townhouses and buildings with five or fewer units two household clean-ups per calendar year. A standard booking holds up to three cubic metres. Larger apartment complexes use building-level allocations coordinated with strata or the residents’ committee.
Council excludes business-generated rubbish, contracted renovation waste, general garbage, loose spillable material and several heavy, sharp or hazardous categories. Private pickup may solve accepted inside loads, business clear-outs and urgent deadlines, but it is not a pathway for prohibited hazardous or specialist waste. Check the current Council clean-up list and entitlement.

Plan before dispatch
The quote needs to reflect every item and every metre of the carrying route. The following checks expose work that a simple pile photo cannot show.
List the unit, balcony, garage, cage, driveway, yard, shop floor or stockroom separately. Note which positions will still change before arrival.
Arrange lifts, loading areas, keys and authorised access with strata, an agent or the site manager. Record the collection window and any surface-protection requirement.
Set aside chemicals, oils, batteries, gas bottles, asbestos, loose liquids and specialist heavy items. Do not mix them through an ordinary household or business load.
The crew inspects the items and route on site, accounts for volume, weight and labour, and presents the total before approved loading starts.
Questions
The current household service allows up to three cubic metres per standard collection. Eligible houses, townhouses and buildings with five or fewer units receive two clean-ups per calendar year, subject to Council rules.
Yes, where the route is safe and access has been arranged. Show the floor, lift or stairs, corridors, basement clearance and loading position before attendance.
A private collection may suit accepted hand-loadable items that Council excludes, including suitable business material or an inside load. Hazardous, liquid, asbestos and specialist waste still requires the correct disposal pathway.
Suitable small-business loads can include furniture, shelving, cartons, packaging and general clear-out items. Identify food, liquids, chemicals, fixed equipment and heavy material before booking.
Same-day attendance is available subject to the complete load, carrying route, truck position and crew capacity. Send every collection area and the required finish time early.
The crew assesses the full volume, weight, material type, carrying labour and access from each item to the truck. The total is confirmed on site before loading begins.
