Terrace rooms and furniture
Sofas, tables, bed frames, cupboards and mixed room contents can be assessed. Include the tightest doorway, turns, stairs and any item that may need dismantling.
Annandale NSW 2038
Clearing furniture, a terrace room, garage or mixed household load in Annandale? We plan the carrying route, load the approved items and confirm the complete on-site quote before work starts.

Front entrance or rear lane?
A terrace pickup may begin in an upstairs room, pass through a narrow hall and finish at the front kerb. A garage or garden load may be quicker through a side path or rear lane. Show the full route—not only the pile—so doorway width, steps, gates, distance and the legal truck position are considered together.
Where two routes are possible, send both. The crew can assess the shorter practical option and whether an item needs to be dismantled before it can be carried safely.
Household, garage and garden loads
Keep the photos in collection order: rooms first, then hallways or stairs, outdoor piles, gates and the final loading position. This prevents a garage or rear-yard group from being missed in the quote.
Sofas, tables, bed frames, cupboards and mixed room contents can be assessed. Include the tightest doorway, turns, stairs and any item that may need dismantling.
Photograph the floor area as well as stacked contents. Identify the gate, roller door or rear-lane route and anything blocked behind the visible front row.
Bag small loose material and separate branches from household items. For a mostly green load, review our garden waste removal service before sending photos.
List what must remain and the final handover time. Keep keys, documents and donation items in a clearly separate zone before loading begins.
Show appliance type, connections, steps and the exit route. Flag exceptionally heavy, fixed or specialist items so suitability is checked before dispatch.
Send every collection zone and the required finish time early. Capacity is assessed against the real volume, route and labour rather than a single close-up photo.
Council clean-up or crew-loaded pickup?
Inner West Council offers eligible residents booked collections in separate categories and limits each collection to two cubic metres. Items must be placed neatly on the street the evening before collection, and the service excludes materials such as building rubble, soil and asbestos.
A private pickup is the practical alternative when items must be carried from inside, several material groups need one coordinated visit, the deadline is sooner or the load falls outside Council’s rules. Check the current Inner West Council clean-up rules.

Route-ready collection
The load size alone does not describe an Annandale pickup. The carrying path, number of collection zones and material mix determine the labour and the most practical order.
Label photos by front room, upstairs room, garage, side path, garden or rear store so nothing is hidden behind a broad “house cleanout” description.
Include doorways, stairs, turns, gates, parked vehicles and the legal truck position. Measure a tight opening when a bulky item is close to its width.
Keep chemicals, liquids, gas bottles, soil and suspected asbestos apart from the ordinary load. Send their details before the collection is scheduled.
The crew checks the complete load, material type, labour and route, then presents the total before any approved item is loaded.
Questions
Yes, when there is a safe carrying route. Show the item, doorway, stairs and route to the truck in the photos so the required labour can be assessed.
Use the shortest legal route that avoids damage and obstruction. Send photos of both options where available, including gates, steps, parked vehicles and the final truck position.
Suitable household and prepared garden material can be assessed together. Photograph each material group separately and identify soil, liquids, chemicals or very heavy items before booking.
Council can suit eligible residents with accepted items, enough lead time and no more than the stated collection limit. A crew-loaded service is useful when items remain inside, the load is mixed, timing is urgent or Council excludes the material.
Same-day service is available subject to the actual load, carrying route and crew capacity. Send complete photos and the required completion time early.
The on-site quote reflects volume, weight, material type, labour and access from every collection point to the truck. The total is confirmed before loading.
Call and quote
Call with the Annandale address, item list, access route and required timing. The crew confirms the complete price on site before loading. If calling is not practical, text the job photos or use the quote form.
