Do you love Hornsby? We do. If you don’t know, Hornsby is a suburb in the Upper North Shore Sydney region of Sydney, in the state of New South Wales, Australia, approximately 23 kilometres (14 mi) north-west of the Sydney central business district. It is the administrative centre of the local government area of Hornsby Shire.
Hornsby is a great place to live and work. But – nonetheless – you will accumulate trash, junk, and rubbish. Fortunately, we aim to be the cheapest rubbish removal in Hornsby and, indeed, throughout Sydney and all of New South Wales, Australia.
As a rubbish removal service, our responsibility to make sure that all the rubbish we collect has only a minimal impact on the Australian environment. We choose ethical disposal methods, such as recycling and upcycling before using landfill sites.
We have secured low fee disposal rates; this is due to our excellent reputation at many recycling and landfill sites. By choosing recycling over landfill we can charge our customers less than many others, and as it also aligns with our responsible removal policies. Our goal is to win for customers, win for Australia, and win for the environment!
Hornsby residents tend to be busy! Many wait till the last minute. Thus, we offer same day rubbish removal. This means that when you book in for a quote and inspection, we’ll pick up all the rubbish that day. We offer cheap rubbish removal, and even deceased estate rubbish removal.
We have spent the time to train our operators how to effectively quote based on the rubbish they are collecting, and then provided you accept it (don’t worry though as it’s totally no obligation!) they will load the truck and you’ll be waving goodbye to all your rubbish before you know it!
People who want rubbish removal want it fast and quick. Many want it on the same day. But here’s the irony: most want it to be cheap, too. We strive to be the cheapest rubbish removal not just in Hornsby, but throughout New South Wales (NSW). We keep our costs low through aggressive recycling and ecofriendly tactics.
We have found that by using recycling centres and properly sorting through the rubbish we collect; we’ve been able to achieve lower disposal fees than many other companies.
Therefore, our first choice is to always recycle. Unfortunately, many items cannot be recycled, and we’ll need to use a landfill site. But as we deal in high volumes of junk and rubbish, we have been able to secure a lower rate for that as well.
Our rubbish removal service trucks are almost always on the road and operating close to Hornsby. We have recruited drivers from all areas, and we use people that know the roads well and are able to get around without any trouble. Our drivers are skilled in all aspects of negotiating smaller roads and can access all properties in the region.
We’ve seen that several competitors state that they work in a variety of areas, but when you try to book in for a pickup, they don’t actually work in your area. This type of behaviour goes against our customer service policies on rubbish removal, when we say we service an area you can be sure that we mean all homes and workplaces.
The name Hornsby is derived from Convict-turned-Constable Samuel Henry Horne, who took part in the apprehension of bushrangers Dalton and MacNamara on June 22, 1830. In return he was granted land which he named Hornsby Place. The first European settler in the area was Thomas Higgins, who received a grant of land in Old Mans Valley. A railway station named “Hornsby Junction” opened on the 17th of September, 1886 to the north of the town of Hornsby, which had developed on the site of Horne’s grant. It formed the junction of the Northern Line and the North Shore Line which were yet to be completed at that time.
