Asbestos or suspected asbestos
Junk King does not take asbestos or suspected asbestos. If old sheeting, insulation, eaves, tiles or renovation material could contain asbestos, stop and use a licensed asbestos removal pathway.
Before you call
Some materials need specialist disposal and should not be booked as a normal rubbish removal load. Check this first to avoid a wasted pickup.
Specialist materials
Most everyday household, office, garden and property cleanout rubbish can be discussed by phone and quoted on site. But some materials need specialist disposal and should not be booked as a standard Junk King pickup.
Being clear about this protects the customer, the crew and the disposal chain. If a load includes hazardous, liquid, very heavy or specialist material, the right answer is not a vague maybe. It needs the correct pathway.
Junk King does not take asbestos or suspected asbestos. If old sheeting, insulation, eaves, tiles or renovation material could contain asbestos, stop and use a licensed asbestos removal pathway.
Junk King does not take chemicals, oils, liquids or unknown containers of liquid. These materials can spill, react, contaminate other rubbish or require specialist handling.
Junk King does not take concrete, bricks or stone as a standard rubbish removal load. These are heavy construction materials and need a disposal option suited to that material type.
Very heavy specialist items are not a normal truck load. Weight changes safety, loading and disposal. If the item cannot be moved safely by a standard rubbish removal crew, use a specialist provider.
The normal fit is everyday rubbish: furniture, boxes, packaging, appliances, garage clutter, office items, garden waste, end-of-lease rubbish and accepted mixed household or business cleanout loads.
Call and describe the item clearly before booking. If it is not suitable for Junk King, the team can tell you before anyone wastes time preparing the wrong type of pickup.
Useful before you book
These guides help customers decide what to do before paying for a pickup: prepare the job, check whether council or donation options make sense, and compare a skip bin with a crew that does the lifting.
Use this checklist before calling so the team can understand the job quickly and give a clearer pickup answer.
A practical guide for Sydney customers when council pickup is too slow, leaves items behind, or does not fit the rubbish, access or deadline.
Not every item needs a paid pickup. This guide helps customers decide what can be donated, recycled, booked through council or cleared by Junk King.
A skip bin can suit some slow cleanups, but urgent Sydney rubbish removal often works better when a crew loads the rubbish and takes it away.
